The inspiration behind SideKYT:
SideKYT is jam-packed with the insights of hundreds of people with diabetes from around the world. When I first started talking to people about what they wanted from a bag, the first thing that struck me was how many people were looking for a smaller handbag. Like me, they were trying to fit diabetes equipment into a regular handbag (insulin pens, blood glucose meters, insulin cooling pouches, snacks, you know the drill) – but all of their life and medical essentials were getting muddled together. So I decided to separate life and diabetes into two halves, as well as streamline the way diabetes equipment was organised on the inside.
The result is SideKYT: a compact and contemporary way to manage life with diabetes every day; all ethically crafted from premium Italian leather and solid brass hardware and helping to support diabetes charities in need.
